The event was opened by the General Director of JSC “REC of biotechnology of the Republic of Tatarstan” – Shevchenko A.M.  In the opinion of Anastasia Mikhailovna the purpose of the exhibition was the desire of the organizers to create all the necessary conditions for productive work of the exhibitors, turn the exhibition into a reliable marketing tool and success of its members.

Yakushev Ilgizar Alyaltdinovich (Professor, Honored inventor, Deputy General Director of JSC “Tatneftekhiminvest Holding”), and Baitemirov Kamiyar Mizhagitovich (Chairman of the Association of farmers and peasant farmsteads in Tatarstan) gave the welcome speech.

The exhibitions were attended by 13 professional societies, including educational and scientific production institutions of RT: Institute of Fundamental Medicine, CFI, KSAVM n.a. Bauman, FCBU “Federal center of toxicological, radiological and biological safety,” FCBU “Rosselhoztcentr”.

The next participant of the exhibition was LLC “Rosta” company which has more than 15 years of experience in the development and promotion of biotechnology projects.  LLC “Biotechconsalting” conducts the creation and rollout of various biotechnological equipment for yeast geniture process, growing a pure culture of alcohol yeast and other industrial strains of microorganisms. Ltd “Euro Accent Saba” develops and introduces a comprehensive approach to the issue of rational water management.

Ltd. SPI “Biologies” – the next exhibitor – has more than half a century of experience in the market of biological products for the crop and livestock production on the basis of live microorganisms.

Ltd. SPC “Liposomal technologies”, one of the projects of which appears the developing of technology for import substitution of drugs and feed mixtures to improve the health and productivity of farm animals, poultry and improving the quality of their products.

Also young scientists from leading universities of Kazan, as K (P) FU and KNRTU exhibited their projects.

In the first part of the conference D.Eng.Sc. Professor Yakushev I.A.  gave the detailed assessment of the status and directions of development of biotechnology in the world. The speakers highlighted the current approaches in the field of biotechnology RT, discussed the main problems of realization of biotechnology projects, including topics separately concerning the use of biological crop protection products, DNA technologies in animal husbandry, fish farming.

The second part of the conference was devoted to the promising research and project development. The speakers were the Heads of enterprises implementing biotechnology projects in RT.

The organizers set a goal of forming the base of biotech projects in the Republic of Tatarstan, promoting the integration of scientific research with the real sector of economy, and small and medium-sized businesses to submit the relevant information on the different stages of the project.

The event was attended by over 60 people and 21 reports were heard on various subjects and areas of biotechnology.

An opening speech was given to the members of the presidium – Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, Deputy General Director of JSC “Tatneftekhiminvest Holding” Yakushev I.A., General Director of ” “REC of biotechnology of the Republic of Tatarstan” Shevchenko A.M., Head of the Department of Science, Education and Innovation Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Khamidullin N.N., Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, Head of the Department of Chemical Cybernetics HPE “KNRTU” Yemelyanov V.M.

The event began with the presentation of the leading research institutes and higher educational institutions of the Republic – KFI, KNRTU, KSEU, KSAVM n.a. Bauman, KSAU, KSMU and others which have extensive experience in research and development.  In the afternoon, the representatives of small and medium businesses in the region appeared with their projects in the field of biotechnology, which are being at different stages of accomplishment and contemplation.

The conference was attended by nearly 100 people – entrepreneurs, farmers, agricultural producers and heads of civil services of the area. The speakers were: Pavel Lokhanov – Head of the Executive Committee of the Kama-Ustinsky MR RT,  Rustem Sibgatullin – Deputy Economy Minister of RT –Head Business Support Department of RT, Arthur Nikolaev – Deputy Chairman of Board of Chamber of Commerce, Nail Siraziev –entrepreneur,  Roman Titov – Managing Partner of  JSC ” Regional engineering centre of biotechnology of the Republic of Tatarstan”.

At a conference two round tables were held:

• “The industrial site for processing of agricultural products.” Here the Head of Department of Development of PPP Investment Development Agency Sergey Golovin, Deputy Director of “Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan” Rasim Usmanov, Chairman of the Public Council of Entrepreneurs Nail Vazyhov, Director of “Rost.Ok” Leonid Nagaev shared their vision of development opportunities of this area.
• “The development of tourism and the addition of municipal programs for development of tourist activities in the Kama-Ustinsky area.” During the discussion, the director of LLC “CCI” Delikat “Nail Sirazaev proposed to found a recreational area that would include a sports field, park area, a pond for sportfishing. The discussion was attended by Ildar Berheev founder of the fishing club “Three strands” by information about the development of tourist centers aimed at fishermen.

One of the most important questions of agenda was the discussion of the working model of regional engineering centers – whether they may become profitable? Borovkov Aleksey Ivanovich – the Vice-Rector for future projects, SpbSPU, represented the question about the creation of the association of engineering centers.

During the discussion, R.V Titov made the proposal on the activities and functioning of engineering centers, which interested the professional audience.

Запись Round table conference “Preservation and development of agro-business in crisis. Organization of marketing for small businesses, attracting non credit financing” впервые появилась Центр инжиниринга биотехнологий Республики Татарстан.

The seminar was attended by over 40 entrepreneurs – representatives of industrial enterprises and organizations of the Spassky and Bugulma municipal areas: agricultural producers, processing and construction sector. Besides, the seminar was attended by representatives of the Association of small and medium business of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Municipal Coordinating Council for the development of entrepreneurship, as well as the Heads of the rural areas, specialized experts and teachers.

On the basis of the considered material students found out about new opportunities for development of business in the conditions of crisis in the economy, as well as studied concrete examples of successful business experience and the possibility of scaling and replication. As part of the live communication with experts, participants discussed the practical issues of supporting small and medium-sized businesses, and examples of successful projects in the field of biotechnology.

On the first of them General Director of LLC “Rosta” Felix Ferdinandovich Aukhadeev ( “Deep processing technologies of agricultural raw material”),  and Head of the Department of Science, Education and Innovation Nail Nurullovich Khamidullin ( “Opportunities for creation of processing industries in the Republic of Tatarstan”) made reports.

On the second round table “Ways of external funding for projects: lending, project financing, investment”   were representatives of financial institutions OJSC “Sberbank”, LLC CBED”Bank of Kazan” and the  “Guarantee Fund”. The moderator of the round tables was the representative of LLC “Bio-Technologies”, the managing partner of “REC of biotechnology of the Republic of Tatarstan” Roman Titiov
