April 12, 2016 II Republican seminar Organic agriculture in the Republic of Tatarstan, dedicated to the development of organic agricultural production in the Republic of Tatarstan will be held at the Institute of Ecology and Mineral Sciences of RT.
The seminar is expected to consider a wide range of issues related to the prospects, opportunities and challenges of development of organic agriculture and certification of organic products in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The seminar will summarize the results of farms survey of the Republic of Tatarstan which are potential producers of organic products and discuss issues of further development of the farms and organic movement of the Republic.
Particular attention will be paid to biological function of agriculture as one of the required conditions for the transition to organic agricultural production. The objectives of the seminar are the exchange of experience between practical agricultural producers and representatives of the academic community, representatives of the various regulatory bodies; joint discussion of the topic with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the agricultural producers of the Republic; considering the possibility of implementation of the existing scientific and theoretical developments into the practice of organic agricultural production.
The seminar will be held in April 12, 2016 at 10:00am on Daurskaya St., 28 (Ametevo metro station), Kazan. Registration starts at 9:30 am.
