From June 29 to July 2, 2016 the 2nd technological agricultural forum-exhibition International Field Days was held in the Volga Region. The venue of the event was the central experimental field of Federal State Scientific Establishment of Tatarstan Agricultural Research Institute in Laishevo region of Tatarstan. The event brought together about 150 organizations both of large and small businesses. Exhibitors were not only Russian companies, but representatives of 7 foreign countries.

April 12, 2016 II Republican seminar Organic agriculture in the Republic of Tatarstan, dedicated to the development of organic agricultural production in the Republic of Tatarstan will be held at the Institute of Ecology and Mineral Sciences of RT.

The seminar is expected to consider a wide range of issues related to the prospects, opportunities and challenges of development of organic agriculture and certification of organic products in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Rector CFI Gafurov I.R. visited the laboratory and production plant of JSC “Regional engineering center of biotechnology of the Republic of Tatarstan “, located in Technopolis “Himgrad”. The purpose of the visit was to establish close cooperation and exchange of technology between research centers and production enterprises.
Demonstration of the first batch of modern technological equipment clearly showed the technical capacity and prospects of the production line of the center.

March 25, 2016 government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic Akhmetov Marat G. visited the production plant of JSC “Regional engineering center of biotechnology of the Republic of Tatarstan” located on the territory of Technopolis “Himgrad”.
The delegation included First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Sibgatullin R.R., Deputy Ministers Titov N.L., Zyabbarov M.A., Gabdrakhmanov I.H.

On October 14,in Berdsk, Novosibirsk Region, there was a business meeting of representatives of JSC “REC of biotechnologies of the Republic of Tatarstan” and the Production Association “Sibbiopharm” Ltd.
The main topic of the meeting was the discussion the possibility of REC to perform engineering support for antibiotic production projects and other engineering projects, where JSC “REC of biotechnologies of the Republic of Tatarstan” can be a performer of the work.

8-11 October 2015 in Moscow the XVII Russian Agricultural Exhibition “Golden Autumn” was held. The main focus was on the sections: Russian model of the formation of agro-industrial clusters: the reserves of improvement of the quality of joint projects.

17-19 September in Kirov there was the III International Forum”BIOKIROV-2015″

Organizers of the forum: the Government of the Kirov region, Society of biotechnologists of Russia n.a Y.A. Ovchinnikov.

A particular emphasis in this year’s Forum was made on the development of biopharmaceuticals and bio-energy.

May 13-14 Kazan State Technological University (KSTU n.a. Kirov) hosted the XIV International Conference of young scientists “Food technology and biotechnology”

The event was held with the support of JSC “REC of biotechnology of the Republic of Tatarstan” The conference was attended by 520 people, including the representatives of 28 universities, seven research institutes and industrial enterprises.

On 24 March a conference was held in Tyulyachy region, which was attended by over 60 entrepreneurs of agriculture.

On 13-14th  of  May Kazan State Technological University (KSTU n.a Kirov) will host the XIV International conference of young scientists “Food technology and biotechnology.”

Such activities aim to become a meeting place for students and graduate students with the representatives of SMEs, the scientific community and employees of enterprises.
